Vladimir Koltovich met with Serbian Ambassador to Belarus Velko Kovachevich

Yesterday, Vladimir Koltovich, Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, met with H.E. Velko Kovachevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Belarus.

The fruitful discussion touched upon a number of issues of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Serbia, including:

  • the possibility of concluding a bilateral agreement providing mutual preferences in the procurement of goods and services;
  • cooperation in IT sphere;
  • mutual trade acceleration;
  • discussion of top priorities in other promising areas of interaction.

In addition, the Ambassador underlined the high quality and demand for Belarusian meat and dairy products on the Balkan market.

Vladimir Koltovich expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for a significant personal contribution to the development of cooperation between our countries. He also stressed that during the six – year cadence of Mr. Kovachevich, many fruitful bilateral meetings and visits were held directly with his participation and strong-willed leadership, in which five of them at the highest level.

In turn, the Ambassador Velko Kovachevich expressed his confidence that the existing close and mutually beneficial relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Serbia are the result of effective interaction between the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus in particular.
