On November 17, 2017, during the First International Scientific and Practical Conference “Competition Policy: Current Trends and Challenges” dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation and practical implementation of the competition policy in Georgia, the Memorandum on Partnership in the field of the Antimonopoly Law Enforcement was signed by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus and the Competition Agency of Georgia.

The Memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of competition policy implementation and law enforcement.

The Memorandum is aimed at stimulating professional cooperation between the agencies, facilitating and enhancing the exchange of experience and non-confidential information including in the field of the investigation of violations of the competition rules. This document also provides for periodic consultations and meetings on specific issues of mutual interest, both at the senior management level and at the level of experts of such agencies.
