Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus

The development of competition in the field of transport and the establishment of a reasonable cost for transport services are of great social importance. This includes the cost of travel for passengers and transportation costs for the delivery of raw materials and products for industry and business.

The MART implements antimonopoly and price regulation in the markets of cargo and passenger transportation by road, rail, and air, in the market of forwarding services, airport and air navigation services.

At the same time, state price regulation in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 72 dated February 25, 2011 “On Some Issues of Prices (Tariffs) Regulation in the Republic of Belarus” is carried out with regard to:

- the passenger transportation by urban and suburban road transport;

- the cargo and passenger transportation by rail;

- airport and air navigation services.
