The fifth Meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Polish Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Warsaw on November 26, 2018

On November 26, 2018 the fifth Meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Polish Commission on Economic Cooperation (the Commission) was held in Warsaw under the chairmanship of Vladimir Koltovich, the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus and Jadwiga Emilewicz, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology of the Republic of Poland. During the Meeting of the Commission the Parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and investment spheres, as well as in agriculture, transport, finance, insurance, development of small and medium enterprises.

Protocol of the fifth Meeting of the Commission, the Agreement between the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the RUE “National Centre for Marketing and Price Study” and the Cooperation Agreement between the Polish Aviation Factory in the city of Sędziszów and OJSC “Holding Management Company “Belkommunmash” signed following the event.

In addition, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and RUE “National Centre for Marketing and Price Study” organized a Polish-Belarusian Business Forum, which was attended by more than 50 representatives of Polish and Belarusian enterprises of food, construction, banking, agriculture and other sectors.

Also on November 26, 2018 Vladimir Kaltovich met with Marek Niechciał, the Head of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. Following the Meeting, the Parties signed the Memorandum on Cooperation in the Field of Competition Policy and Consumer Protection.
