On November 26, 2018, the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of competition policy and consumer protection between the head of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus and the head of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Poland was signed as part of the visit of the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Koltovich to Warsaw (Republic of Poland) for the fifth meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Polish Commission on economic cooperation.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to develop and strengthen cooperation in the field of competition policy and consumer protection.

The Memorandum is aimed at sharing experience and opinions on multilateral issues in the field of antitrust law and consumer protection legislation by organizing high-level meetings/visits, organizing study tours and trainings for specialists, including those working with court cases, participating in international conferences, symposiums, seminars and other events.
