On November 10, 2016, within the framework of the international conference “Advantages and Peculiarities of Work of Business Entities in the Conditions of the EAEC in 2016” organized by the Eurasian Economic Commission in Grodno, the Memorandum on Cooperation in the Field of Competition Policy between the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus and State Agency of Antimonopoly Regulation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was signed.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to develop and strengthen cooperation in the field of competition policy.

The main areas of cooperation are:

  • exchange of information on changes in the legislation of the states of the Parties in the field of competition development, the practice of law enforcement in the field of competition development, as well as information on the state and degree of development of commodity markets;
     
  • exchange of experience in the field of law enforcement in establishing the facts of the availability (absence) of violations of antimonopoly legislation, principles and rules of competition;
     
  • exchange of experience in the field of interaction of state bodies of the Parties, in order to develop competition;
     
  • presentation of information and provision of methodological assistance in the development of regulatory legal acts in the field of competition development;
     
  • assistance in establishing the facts of availability (absence) of violations of antimonopoly legislation, principles and rules of competition.
